an inside view of a male Seiko 5 movement cal. 7009



this movement is one of the most successful movement that seiko ever made. it's quality and a reasonable price made it legendary. produced from 1978 till 1995 and used in other
Seiko models, especially in the profesional divers line!
the 7009 is a part of a wider line of similar automatic movements developt by Seiko from 1969. in that year was presented the cal. 7005 and various modifications were made from than. the last movement from this line, known as the 7xxx line, is the 7s26 with 21 rubins.
